The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Ghana marked the recent election of its new president, Mr. G D Mensah, as well as the newly-elected governing council of CILT Ghana, with an investiture dinner that was held at the Regency Hotel in Accra.
The event was attended by fellows and friends of the institute, as well members of the media. It was chaired by Mr. Charles Taylor and featured the Vice-President of Africa region at CILT-International, Mr. Teete Owusu-Nortey, as well as a representative of the Minister of Transport. Following opening prayers and remarks by the chairman and special guests, the function proceeded in a festive mood through the traditional handing ceremony and swearing of the new Governing Council and came to an end with the new president's acceptance speech and ensuing networking dinner.
